Sasha

This is the only picture I have managed to get of our kitten Sasha alone. Ever time I get close enough to take a picture she comes running for loves. She is the most loving thing I have ever seen. She even rubs her nose against mine and cries like a baby till I pick her up. Of course she sleeps with me cuddled up too.

Better

Marcus is better again.
Who knows if it is the chiropractor or rest that made him improve?
So far he has been for 3 adjustments and one massage. BTW he LOVED the massage but I told him not to get used to it!
I am still taking him to the orthopedic on Thursday though and see what he has to say.

Issues again

Marcus is having issues with his hip again. It has been going on for over a week now and started hurting during basketball practice. So for now he is once again on the sidelines.
He has an appointment with his ortho the 13th but when school called me around noon to come pick him up because of the pain I thought WTH and took him to the chiropractor. I am taking him back tomorrow for another adjustment and a massage of that area.
I am to the point I am truly desperate to help him and think I would try just about anything.

Halloween Bear

Bre got this tiny stuffed bear from an elderly man Halloween night while Trick-or-Treating. She has held it close ever since.

Monkey Girl

This may be fine for the playground but she done it the other day in Burger King! Yeah those gold metal poles designed to keep customers in a straight line became Bre's jungle gym!

The Loot

Bre with more candy than one little girl could ever possibly need.

Marcus and his bow

Marcus is a saver. Always has been and I believe always will be. He had managed to save his birthday money and allowances till he had $560. I considered that quiet a feat when you are only 10 years old.
But he also knows what he wants and he wanted a bow so he could go bow hunting. So yesterday we took him and they fitted him with one his size that can grow with him.
He is now $350 poorer but he is happy!

The slide show below is from his very first evening with his new bow and his daddy trying to show him how to use it. Sorry some of the pictures are dark since it was getting late out.

Conversation with daddy

Bre: I need the scissors
Daddy: No, you don't need the scissors
Bre: I need the scissors
Daddy (after about the third or fourth time) : why do you need the scissors?
Bre: so I can cut all my hair off, it's bothering me!

I do believe we will be hiding the scissors before bedtime tonight.

Miss Sitcky Fingers!

We may have a future thief on our hands.

Last night when Joey went to take her shirt off of her about 6-7 tiny toys went flying in every direction. She had stuffed toys from school into the pockets on her hoodie. Of course we made her take them all back this morning and all is well again.

Halloween Cookies

I baked sugar cookies for the kids to decorate yesterday. They cracked us up...they acted like they had never gotten to do such a thing before in their lives they were so excited. Then the way they ate them it seemed like they had never ate a cookie before either.

pictures to follow if my computer and Blogger both will cooperate
