Sponsorship gives institutionalized children the opportunity to grow and develop in the arms of loving families. Your sponsorship also gives children recognition and value. Earlier this year a child named Emily was returned to an orphanage after being in foster care for years. Emily has Down Syndrome and her smile and joy were all but lost when she was returned. The orphanage was reluctant to place her in foster care again. Because of a donor like you, the orphanage was persuaded to place Emily in another foster home, giving her a new chance.
